A Beachwood Bay "spin-off", book 1 in The Callahan series starts off at the grand opening celebration of Emerson's restaurant, Jaybird. Dex Callahan, a popular musician, has agreed to perform. Alicia is a high society friend of Carina's. They meet outside the restaurant and later leave together. Dex wants her and offers her a night of immense pleasure. An unwelcome phone call upsets Dex (and the mood), so Alicia runs out. Dex chases after her and offers her a new proposition. Great prelude for Uninhibited, book 2 in The Callahans series!
